Olympic Tree Sculpture

Back to Search Results

A harsh landscape is revealed between Obstruction Point and Hurricane Ridge as frequent assaults by cold, snow and wind can turn a tree into a bleached and tortured sculpture. Much of the sub-alpine of Olympic National Park is accessible in summer after 30 feet of snow melt, and visible when not shrouded in heavy fog. Olympic is one of the wildest places remaining in the contiguous United States.
