During the wet, there is so much silt in the water that pearl divers can't see their hands in front of their faces... or the sharks until they are right on them... one was killed by a shark a year ago...  When the cages come up with the oyster shells, there is so much muck on them that the cage cleaners (guy above) have to be hosed off periodically.  They get all mucked up by washing off the cages with high pressure water cleaning equipment.
