In Meshili (subvillage of Olbalbal) in the NCA, they are having a milk ceremony. The name of the family having the ceremony is Nakiti. A milk ceremony is the first step of a warrior becoming an elder. This is basically a feast and dancing in a remote corner of the NCA overlooking Olduvai gorge. Maasai drink blood from the bull as they slaughter it...Maasai warriors drink a kind of soup from bark and other ingredients that helps them "purge" the demons of killing other animals or having their friends killed. They convulse and it takes two or three other Maasai warriors to hold them.
