Sue Colson is an oyster fisnerman in the town of Suwannee,population 695.  Natural salt marches and tidal flats attract thousands of shorebirds while acting as a nursery for fish, shrimp and shellfish. Suwannee is at the end of the Suwannee River where the salt water of the Gulf of Mexico meets the river.
