A Ladino man splits wood to warm the house he shares with a brother and sister in the Dolomites of Italy.  The unmarried siblings live together farming on property that has been in the family for generations.  La Valle is made up of a Ladino culture where the people have their own language.  They have close ties to the old ways--still using a horse and sled for spreading fertilizer.
