Young nephews watch their uncle milk cows in the field in a Ladino community in the Dolomites.
Two brothers and a sister Andrea, Irma and Guiseppe Costabiei (all unmarried) live together farming on property that has been in the family for generations. La Valle is made up of a Ladino culture where the people have their own language. They have close ties to the old ways--raking hay by hand. Two nephews help rake and watch their uncle milk cows.
