The pygmy choir was interesting because it was led by a Bantu.  The pygmies had to wait in the audience until summoned and then they were placed in position, person by person, by the Bantu, as if they couldn't figure out where to stand themselves.  And then the Bantu was the main act and the pygmies were a backup group.
