Hungry Wild Horses

Most residents of Hidden Valley love the wild horses that live near their homes outside of Reno.  However, some folks find them a problem so the wild horses have been fenced out of the subdivision.    <br />

Wild horses roaming grounds are being developed into housing and industrial sites.  They are fenced out of their range have trouble getting to water and food. A group of horse lovers have worked with the state and help feed the horses--spending as much as $12,000 a year on hay.   <br />

Betsy Brownfield is a weekend feeder.  It is dry and there is little food.
