Cattle Strain Necks to Get Away from Flies

Buffalo flies are incredibly thick on cattle at the beginning of the wet. The eggs lie in the dust all year waiting for the first rain, and when it comes the eggs explode.  The job of a buffalo fly is to lick sweat off cattle (or any animal) and then deposit it's eggs in the dung.
