Crocodile with Morning Sun Reflected in Mouth

Saltwater Crocodile in Yellow Waters area of Kakadu National Park.
altwater Crocodile is the largest of all living reptiles and is found in the Northern Territory. They are believed to grow to as large as 20 feet long.
They can potentially eat any animal including monkeys, dangaroos, wild boar, dingos, birds, livestock, water buffalo, sharks and even humans.

Before the wet, it is easier to see wildlife in this area. Once water fills the landscape, there is more habitat and these guys slink off to their wet season territory.
I started photographing this croc at dawn and the shrubs just isolated this one shaft of light that lit the inside of the crocodiles mouth. This crocs has its mouth open so it can moderate the heat.
